Oh! Joy!
Another cello, no cello thread.

I only take the cello of the ones I plan to smoke in the near future.

Re: Cello wrappers, leave them on or take off?

I live by the naked lady rule. If the band has a naked lady I take the cello off. If it doesn't, I leave it on. Seams to be just about as good a rule of thumb as any other I've heard for cello.

It all comes down to mood and preference. If the mood hits I take them off, and if it doesn't I leave them on. I haven't noticed any difference over the years.

Find out which way you prefere and go from there my friend.

I started out by stripping everything before I put it in the humi. I've now thrown in with the "leave 'em like you got 'em" crowd. Why? I'm feloniously lazy, and it apparently doesn't make a damned bit of difference, so why bother?

personally I hate the way a cigar looks with a wrapper on it. you miss the details of construction etc. So I would immediately peel off all wrappers.

now, after tossing hundreds of the blasted plastic, i have gotten lazy and leave them as they come. except for my rotation humi. There, I peel them off, because, I reach for "what looks good" and wrapped sticks "don't"

Isn't it a bad idea to peel the wrapper off your cigar? Then all you have is binder and filler left.

It is, however, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to remove cello before lighting up. Something about a taste of BURNT CELLULOSE ACETATE that doesn't ring too appetizing!

If you go to the bottom of this page and click on the word cello which is on the bottom left under the word Tags you will be treated to a plethora of observational opinions.

BTW I leave them as they came unless I am photographing them.
