First welcome. Second before specifics are announced will Fred, Tony, and David be involved in that process?

If they want to be, then yes, absolutely.

Not to be negative, but I'd recommend hiring a real photographer for the cigar babes. Sets, lighting, a proper portrait lens, makeup/hair artists and nice clothing would make it look 50 times nicer. You don't have to spend a lot of money, just find a photographer with a bit of skill.

If I still lived in Florida I'd do it for free (been shooting professionally since 1975).

They kind of run the troop support program here, so honestly everyone else needs to coordinate with them. There is no other way to say it they are the ones that have gotten everyone else involved with this program. At least for the CS section. And you should do some lurking and see what they've done it's impressive.

Hey Kevin, thanks for taking the time to answer some of our questions. What I would like to know is what are some of the features that make your forum unique? Also, what additional features do you want to see implemented on puff.com.

Those photos were shot back in 2005 when I had no budget and the site wasn't making any money.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I don't think they are too bad, and don't think they look unprofessional.

I'm not saying they are hi-end glamour magazine quality, but they certainly don't look amateur. Just my opinion.

Anyone agree or disagree?

If you're interested in a higher end production, where we had professional make-up, lighting, location, script writer, videographer and video editor check out the Aria Giovanni videos I did recently, after I was making money and had a budget.

How to Light a Cigar with Aria Giovanni

How to Cut a Cigar with Aria Giovanni

I think they are better than the boring old guys in suits in the videos on CA. I don't claim that they are 100% perfectly educational. They are more "edutainment". Keep in mind, she is an adult model, former Penthouse Pet, but the cool thing is that she smokes cigars in real life.

I don't think we have any unique features that other boards do not have. What makes all the boards unique, imo, are the people that post on them.

TBH, I do not know CS and CL's boards well enough to compare to CR's board, so maybe you guys have this ...

What makes the CR community special imo is that many of the guys have each other's phone numbers, have met in person at our own Cigar Review Herf events and really know each other personally and not just virtually online.

We had guys fly in from all over the country and from abroad to attend two events we had last year in Tampa and Harrisburg PA.

As far as new features for the new forums at puff.com, we're all ears for any suggestions.

I just remembered that we have a "Birthday Club" and we have done "Secret Santa" the past two years. I don't know if that's unique to CR though.
