Re: Favorite Budget Mild Smoke?

Oliva Serie G.

Also the Romeo y Julieta 1875 isn't too bad, if kind of generic, for a fair price, but only because I don't know if the Reserva Real is over $5 on the internet.

Also, go for Taboo Twist. De-freakin-licious and easy on the budget.

Don't know if they're considered mild, but I really like most things Hoyo de Monterrey makes - the Excaliburs have a nice "light" flavor that's really sweet. They're inexpensive too.

Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro is a pretty good smoke for pretty damned cheap, and you can probably score Cusano 18 and Carlos Torano Casa Torano for under $5 as well. All good cigars.

Cuesta-Rey also makes some alright mild smokes at a fair price. Just shop around, you'll find something you like. People are going to come in and throw a bunch of bundle cigar names at you that I don't have experience with, so pay attention to them...they know stuff

I dunno how much a Cusano 18 Double Connecticut Robusto runs for but that and the Cusano 1997 Corojo Churchill are my two favorite 'value' mild sticks.

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Smoke?

I don't smoke many milds, but these are two I go for when the mood strikes:
- CAO Gold Robusto. $3.35/stick (box of 20) at CI.
- Montensino Robusto. $2.52/stick (box of 25) at CI

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Smoke?

Well, they are "around" 5 bucks, usually almost 6 bucks, but Zino Classic No. 6 Robustos are very nice. Really meaty, cedar tones and very spicy yet mild. I love em.

5 Vegas gold. All the sizes are pretty good, but the Churchills are my favorite when I have the time.
