except I think "slope" is a little misleading. when I hear "slope", I think of a gentle sloping hill... not the freakin Grand Canyon styled RAVINE that it really is for most people (and in other news, my humi is filled... damn cbid...)

haha you ain't lying man. I just placed an order with Taboo as well. some of their value blends and their 12 pack premium sampler. Also bought a cigar punch from them. Anyone tried these before? I think it would do well for the sticks that are too big for my cutter. Although the Nub is the only one I have had to fill it so far. But the punch is nice because it goes on a keychain and I wont have a cutter in my pocket or herf-a-dor.

Do what I did. I scanned my Sunday paper last week and found an ad for CI that offered eight sticks (some decent ones, too) plus a 20-count humidor for $15. It will give you some overflow room (which I will need when my 35 Indian Tabac sticks arrive next week from CI).

best bet with cutters is to experiment. There are people that swear by each one. A friend of mine only uses the V-cutter. Others only like the punch, and likewise the strait blade. personally i'm a bit moody, sometimes I like the blade, sometimes I like the punch (and often its based on the cigar). but I don't like the V-cut.... so give em all a try and see what works for you. If anything else, its just nice to have a punch cutter on the keychain at all times.
