This topic has come up before and I always go right back to my dad. No famous person would be even close. He died a couple of decades before I started cigars, but he was known to have one every now and then. He was a very learned man and I'd love to have a deep conversation as an adult with him over a cigar or two. (I'm now less than a year away from the age he was when he passed.)

As for famous persons, I think I'd go along with Spurgeon. There would be a deep conversation too!

Even though my Dad was not a cigar smoker, I would love hang out with him once more, I am sure I could get him to have one with me.
As far as famous people, I would probably say Paul Newman. Aside from his great movies, I have always been a big IndyCar fan and got to meet him once at the Indy 500. He seemed like a cool guy to hang out with.

I would want to smoke with my dad. Never really got to know him. He wasn't around much and then passed away when I was 9. It's strange missing someone you didn't know much about.
