I am still alive

Someone asked me if I was still alive and around. Yes, I am.

I have been busier than a one-armed paper hanger.

I have recently been asked to teach a class at the local Lutheran High School, so that's been added to my plate.

Was at a Pastor's Retreat for a few days at the end of September which required copious reading before attending... And of course, the classwork at the retreat.

I was also gone from with the boys the first Sunday in October, taking the boys with me - and out of school for 2 days - to go salmon fishing.

Then, I was the featured speaker at a 2-day Celebrate Life conference. This of course required serious preparation time as well.

Not to mention, the normal daily routine of a pastor's life.

So, if you wonder where I've been, that's what my life has been up to for the last few weeks.

Anyway, glad to be able to check in.
