Some days I wish my photo degree had included business courses. Maybe when the kids get older I will go back to night school and go for an MBA.

I have a chance to buy national advertising for the Beer and Cigar Festivals at a great price. So I am raising $25k.

This advertising will pull in an extra 5,000 people to each festival, so I am willing to pay 50% return on whatever you contribute. put in $1,000 get a check for $1,500 on March 15.

Put in $25k and get a check for $37.5k on March 15.

Thanks for the interest. I am also talking to a large credit card company to see if they will do this, but I think their corporate wheels are going to spin too slow.

Part of the stress, I'll be glad when this first fest is under my belt.

Cheers!

I resent that accusation. I think of it as supporting my local law enforcement personnel .

(Yes, I have delivered a box to them and the fire department in the past) (and yes, I live in a small town, so I'm talking about a box where each officer/fireman would be able to claim 2 to 3 each, if they ALL smoked)

An alternative view is that all I'm doing is spreading the word that Good Cigars are better than Cheap Cigars (just being a good BOTL, officer).

Not going to get that kind of return from your local bank or the old money market account, that's for sure. Good luck in raising funds.

Maybe it is a Polish bank?

I know, I know... but I couldn't resist!
