The organizing bug hit me too...

Couldn't get to sleep tonight for some reason, and all I could think about was cigars so I decided to uproot my humi and re-organize the sucker. It was quite successful IMO! Went from having space for about 1 cigar to about 5 cigars, so I'm happy. ^_^

Nothin' but fakes here... I'll keep your storage offer in mind.

Re: The organizing bug hit me too...

QUESTION TO ALL:

When you get the organize your stick itch, do you just do it in any room or do you prepare a room at a decent humidity?

I've got 7 humi's, two coolerdors, and six steridors (Sterilite 66 qt storage boxes) so when I get a large order, or do an inspection or reorg, I steam up the bathroom to about 70% RH, drag everything in there and use a table leaf across the vanity as a work desk.

Am I being a little over cautious?

PS: A full reorg and inventory takes about an hour or so based on the last one.

In a word, yes.

The sticks we send each other are in far worse conditions for much longer than an hour (days in most cases), and afterward they are fine after a week or so in the humi. Your sticks being exposed for an hour poses little to no problems.

I just sprawled them out on my bed in my room, probably 74 degrees and who knows what RH.

Its funny how just handling our cigars brings us pleasure. I think the whole smoking hobby is a very tactile experience.

Nice selection of cigars you have there.
