I came across an article on the Colorado Springs Gazette Website where a woman is suing a guy because she doesn't like him smoking on his deck outside, nor inside his home. This is "anti-smoking Nazi-ism" gone overboard.

First of all, the guy is smoking outside on his deck. Secondly, I highly doubt that the smoke can seep through the walls into her unit. If, by some slim chance that it actually does, then someone built a crappy building that needs to be fixed, and it is not the tenant's responsibility.

I think this woman is just a big drama queen desperate for attention, and she is most happy when she has something to complain about.

What do you think?

I've always had that concern of a crazy neighbor complaining. My cigar room vents directly to my backyard so you can occasionally smell the smoke outside my house when i'm in there. I think i might actually cry if a judge ruled I couldn't smoke in my cigar room because my neighbor was complaining to the level that women was in that article.

This is ridiculous. People are too litigious and I wish frivolous lawsuits like this boomerang on the people who file them. They should have to pay for all of the court costs and for everyone involved. It's a darn shame.

People have found, it's much easier and faster to sue your way to retirement instead of working.

It's such a mixed blessing to think people worry about this stuff, she's not worried about being murdered, taken away to slavery, suffering because her choice in religion, music etc. But she still hasn't got it good enough...

People should just be more thankful of what they have.

It's not like he wasn't coming in her house and smoking in her face...

I really think the whole hospital and all were just to build a court case. I do wonder if there is/was any bad blood before this.
