Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
I do. I love experiencing the range of flavors and aromas. Yesterday I smoked 4 CCs, today I've smoked 4 NCs.
Started my 8 cigar weekend with a ERDM Choix Supreme, followed by a RyJ #2 tubo, then a Fonseca Cosaco, and finally a Bolivar Belicoso Fino. This morning I smoked a Nestor Reserve Connecticut, followed by a Honduran bundle cigar also from Nestor, then a 5 Vegas Classic corona. Finishing up my 8 cigar weekend with a 601 Oscuro robusto. I think I like cigars. ![]() |

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
Yes, just yesterday I started out with a trinidad fundador CC and then closed out the day with a 2006 Camacho Liberty. Some days its all NC's some days its a mix for me. Every country and every cigar has something to offer that the other one can't.

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
Yes of course, sometimes not in the same day. For example I won't commonly fire up a CC and then an Illusione, but I do stagger what I smoke each day, one day might be all CC and the next NC.

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
Yes I do, very often, in fact!
There are many good cigars that are blended with tobaccos from different countries and I enjoy them as well, however, I tend to prefer Puros for the most part. I often find myself smoking only Nicaraguan Puros for a week or so, and then I may go to Dominican Puros for a few days, then Cubans, which are always Puros, then maybe back to Nic. Puros or maybe Honduran Puros, and so on! |

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
I never know what I'm going to smoke until I open up the cooler. Sometimes I just grab a pipe. My smoking habits are all over the place.

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
I may smoke a cuban and the turn right around and smoke a non-cuban. Who knows what I am gonna smoke, I sure as heck don't.

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
Definitely. Right now, mostly because my CC selection is limited, but even when I build it up I expect to switch it up a bit. Each cigar is different, and each countrys obbacco is different. Sometimes I want a meaty Nicuraguan, sometimes a CC ice clream sandwich, sometimes a smooth and light DR. Throw in the american and african wildcards, and theres too much GREAT stuff out there to limit yourself to one nation. IMO.

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
I'm with floydp. I never know what I'm gonna smoke until I open my cooler. Although, when I leave my house for a few days, I pack 5 different types into my herf-a-dor. I generally don't smoke every day either.

Re: Do you switch from CCs to NCs and back?
I don't have a whole lot of Cubans, so I don't smoke them nearly as often. I smoke them when I feel like a surprise - "I feel like smoking a Cuban tonight. It might be plugged, it might not be. It might be boring as all getout, or it might be the greatest smoke in recent memory." With non-Cuban cigars I pretty much have some idea of what I'm going to get, and most of the time it's pretty good, but rarely "frickin excellent." With Cubans, it's often pretty boring but if it has any taste, it's usually frickin excellent.

all the time. I have favorites from both. Sometimes i know exactly what I want, and other times I stare at the humi to see what looks good. Alot depends on how much time I have, and the weather
