Newbie goes hog wild. Help I'm addicted!!

Hey all. I've been smoking cigars now for about 2 years and love it. Average about 3 aday. Anyway I've just refianced my house and with the wife's permission I'm building be a smoking room out back. Below is the details. If you have any suggestion on how to improve or if I'm forgetting something please let me know. Construction starts 2/15. I'll be posting pics has the project progresses. Hope to have complete by end of March. Value your input. Thanks and looking forward to a long rewarding friendship here at Club Stogie.

I've just purchased a 10 x 16 barn with shingles. This will be my new smoking room. My vision for the room is: I will be installing insulation and wood grain paneling (either light cedar or mahogany color) with base molding. I will then be installing (2) 110 CFM exhaust fans along with a 6000 btu window unit and ceiling fan with light. (the kind with the tobacco leaf shape blades of course).

Furniture will consist of: (2) leather recylners, end table with lamp, love seat, aand coffee table. (If this is to crowded love seat and cofffee table will go) think it will fit thought.

Entertainment will consist of: 35" flat screen TV, DVD player, 1000 watt home theatre system, 24 count wine cooler, 3.4 cu refrigerator (for the beer), 2 cabinets mounted to the left and right of the TV for liquor and glasses.

Wall decorations will be: 2- cigar smoking Al Pacino poster, 2- cuban girl /w cigar poster very sexy, 2 neon lighted cigar signs. Magazine rack for display of cigar mags.

Think that about covers it. Will also try to find room for my computer to play online poker at ParaDise Poker .

Dude - cooooome baaaaack! Nobody's ever gonna see you again.

How have you survived smoking 3 smokes a day with only a 100 count humi? You must have a big humi in the main house.

I would recommend that you double check your ventilation capacity, maybe even have a back up in case the boys come over and really fumigate the place.

Re: Newbie goes hog wild. Help I'm addicted!!

lol..I stop by the cigar shop often and have a humi pak in the car. Figure if the smoke gets that bad I'll either open the windows or the 4' door. Hope it does get that bad often. No sense in having one if you can't share it with friends.

You realize, of course, that you are the cause of great jeolosy!

JEEZ! Sounds excellent!!! But you might think about a built-in "corner humidor," from floor to ceiling. Source out some Spanish cedar to line it and shelf it, outlets for a humidification unit and a couple of fans... Etc., etc., etc.

Better stop here... I just drooled on my keyboard.

Re: Newbie goes hog wild. Help I'm addicted!!

and i thought i was getting carried away with buying about 100 sticks in the past couple weeks (i've not smoked 100 sticks in my entire life).

Spring needs to get here soon so I can sit on the deck at night and smoke a stogie. I go to the B&M to smoke, but only end up coming home with more than i left with.

What makes the first link "cigar chairs" any different than picking up a couple of good leather Laz-y-boy's on Craigslist for $75 ea?
