Re: Thanksgiving Day Smoke

My dad and I like to smoke a good, smooth decent cigar so I am going to go with a Rocky Patel Renaissance Churchill. These smokes are just freaking awesome!! My nephew enjoys Moontrance cigars so I will get him one of those.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Smoke

had a 2 year old WAOM last night while getting the oil ready for the turkey fryer - made some hot wings.

Today, I think I will have an Esplendido. Oh wait- I don't have one of those... guess I will need to wait and see what catches my eye.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Smoke

I am going to enjoy a Taboo HSG robusto.

Though a noob, I have found Taboo's Twists, HSGs and Dom Maddies to be consistently really good cigars.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Re: Thanksgiving Day Smoke

I got some Gurkha Class Regent toros off cbid a couple weeks ago, and I haven't had one of them yet, so that's for tonight. Had a 5 Vegas Anomaly this morning with my coffee. Very tasty.

Smoking an Oliva Series G Maduro box pressed as we speak. These are some very nice looking sticks.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Smoke

During peaceful hour long walks with my dogs (Sharpei, Pitbull, and MinPin -what a combination!)

Morning - 2yr aged Pueblo Dominicano II Mini Belicoso, rating - my 8.5

Afternoon - Alex Bradley MAXX Corona, my rating - 9.0

Evening - Man 0'War Robusto, my rating - 8.5

Everyone was on point with burn (no touchupss) and flavorful.

Now for tomorrow through Sunday I'll be eating leftovers and smoking (in no particular order) OPUS X Perfeccion #2, 2005 Cohiba Siglo VI, Aston VSG Torp, 2005 Choix Supreme, 2006 Anejo Shark, Tatuaje Noella, Illusione 68, and 2004 Padilla Maduro Torpedo (got a box at 1/2 price last week from an awesome local B&M!).

Oh yea, and at least 1 Joya de Nicaragua Antano (size undetermined) at the CI Superstore Event tomorrow night from 9PM-Midnight!

Damn, Life is good!

The best Thanksgsving Wishes to you all!

Re: Thanksgiving Day Smoke

I have four Opus X Forbidden X Lanceros in my locker at the local shop, but I wasn't able to get over there to dig one out for my smoke today. Instead, I "settled" for one of my AVO Tesoros from my humi. I have been holding onto the Forbidden X Lanceros since last Christmas. I need to finally smoke one this weekend.

I had an Onyx Reserve Torpedo this afternoon on the deck. Smoked perfectly and tasted very good.
