check out the stampings on this one... they're not the same on any of 'em in the photo.
This is what I was going to say in my deleted post just above yours Greg, I just wan't sure if I would spoil the comp or not
That style of band was in use from 1994 till recently, not sure exactly when but maybe 2003/2004.

Romeo banded cigar has no triple cap and white border is off center.
Cohiba has a missing band shadow below the label and looks like no triple.
The Punch banded cigar seems to have no triple cap.

Might as well take a shot...I don't think this combo has been tried yet:

RyJ - gold appears poor quality, dotting, unable to see tripple cap
Punch - label appears off centered and the roped edging around the exterior appears crappy.
Bol - coloring appears off; should be more red; too dark

Re: CSI: Club Stogie 2- Six Smokes, Six brands, Three fakes...

Well, even assuming the Cohiba was a fake, which wasn't factored into my original chart, there's only 3 possible combinations left

1.

ERDM - No Triple Cap
RyJ - No Triple Cap, band off center
Cohiba - Possibly a double instead of a triple cap?

2.

ERDM - No Triple Cap
Punch - band off center, no triple cap
Cohiba - Possibly a double instead of a triple cap?

3.

ERDM - No Triple Cap
Boli - Habana is too thick, tunic color is wrong
Cohiba - Possible double instead of triple cap

So has the correct combination been listed, but with wrong reasons? or has the correct combination not been posted at all?

Re: CSI: Club Stogie 2- Six Smokes, Six brands, Three fakes...

I think the correct combination HAS to have been listed, just not with the proper reasons. I did the math. There are 116 non-unique combinations. I did it like this:
I numbered the 'gars 1-6, then made a chart

123
124
125
126

132
134
135
136

Etc. According to my chart, every possible combination has been listed. This means we need to start working on our reasons, I guess. Unless Paul can tell me I'm wrong.

Oh yes, Paul, got my winnings from the first one of these today, THANK YOU, I'll put a picture up eventually. Some very nice smokes. One question though, is the La Aurora supposed to have very dark spots on the wrapper, or is that water from the climaguard leaking out onto it? I'm hoping they're supposed to be there, or else the aurora will have to sit for a VERY long time to dry out.

O Round Orange One, your logic is flawed.
Order is of no significance. Therefore, there are only 20 combinations (you, my friend, listed permutations)
4! + 3! + 2! + 1! = 20

Don't they teach you math at Georgia Tech??

They teach it, don't mean I learn it. Don't mean I know no english neither. I KNOW order doesn't make a difference, I didn't say it did. That's why I said 116 NON-unique possibilities. Each time you cross off one option, you cross off all the others with the same digits. You do the math, show me the combination I missed. I'll show you the sheets I used (did it by hand, cuz I'm cool like that )

Evidently they don't teach me enough math to catch stuff like this on the first try either

4! = 24
3! = 6
2! = 2
1! = 1

24 + 6 + 2 + 1 =33 != 20

You're smarter than you look (in your avatar!)
You are almost correct. There are 120 non-unique combinations.
6! / 3! = 120.
Maybe it's one of your missing 4.

Oops. Not drunk (yet).
I forget the notation for summation other than ∑.
What I meant was (4+3+2+1) + (3+2+1) + (2+1) + 1

Re: CSI: Club Stogie 2- Six Smokes, Six brands, Three fakes...

Combinations not permutations (not ordered)

n is number in set. k is number in subset.

n! / {k! * (n - k)!}

6! / 3! (6 - 3)!

= (6*5*4)/{3*2*1} = 20

Edit: typo in formula.
