Further down the slope...

I've always maintained 2 humidors; one for candelas, and one for the rest. The candelas are in a 100 count humi and everything else in the 200. With recent purchases, both are completely full. The problem? I just ordered a box off the internets, and I'm picking up a box from the B&M tomorrow.

Fortunately, I pcked up a 500 count unit several months ago. I didn't buy it because I thought I would need the space, I bought it because it was super cheap. It had a small scratch in the finish from when someone busted out the window at the B&M. So, the big one is being seasoned. When the the others arrive, the candelas move to the 200 count, and everything else goes in the big one.

Since the little one will be empty and the others less than full, I guess that means I need to fill them back up, eh?

None taken. Everyone should smoke what they enjoy. And you know, Sometimes I do feel like the last candela smoker on earth.

It's funny how slippery the slope is, huh? I never imagined I would have three humis, but it happened in no time. I guess it's time to start saving for something with more capacity.

It's similar to this: http://www.cigarhumidors-online.com/...lleenlarge.htm but not tapered at the sides and with only one tray that sits at the top. It was a steal because it had a tiny scratch.

I'm amazed at how many cigars I've acquired, since I usually only smoke 2 to 3 a week. At that rate, it'll take me several years to smoke what I've got.

That's good cuz the price is probably going up soon due to taxes. It's nice to have bunker-stock.

About candelas...you probably win ALL the bids you make for them on cbid, huh?

I probably would if I ever used cbid. I keep looking for candeals there, but never see anything that interests me.

Re: Further down the slope...

So, I didn't come home with one box, but two. A box of Arganese maduro robustos and a box of Arganese CL3, not to mention the three samplers I ended up with as well. Gene Arganese was on site handing out free samples. I smoked one of the maduros and a CL# before deciding that both were so could I couldn't live without them. He autographed both boxes for me, as well as any other box sold that night. All in all I came home with more than 60 sticks. Good thing the big box is almost ready eh?

Pics to follow as soon as I feel like resizing them.
