Can you recommend me a good sampler?

Looking at getting a decent sampler (no more than $25) so if anyone wants to recommend me something, shoot. I usually hang out over at the pipe forums but i'd love to revisit my cigars.

I've already tried the sampler that CubanCrafters offers w/ the cigar cutter, and it was splendid. I REALLY enjoyed the Cabinet Selection and the Don Kiki Brown Label Figurado... knock me out fellows!

There's this.....

and this.....

There are tons of great samplers out there to be had, and the prices are pretty good. Just search the sites and you'll find what you want.

You have any opinions on a few of the cigars they praise in the 8 Horsemen Sampler?

Re: Can you recommend me a good sampler?

Are you looking for brand specific or samplers of different brands?

I would probably go with

Don Pepin Garcia Six-Pack Sampler

or

Perdomo 12-Cigar Flight Sampler

Either of these can be gotten off cbid for a little cheaper, probably around 20-25 bucks.

Ditto these as I am a big fan of these cigars as well as anything Rocky Patel. Just start diving into 5 paks and see what your taste tells you. It's hard to recommend cigars until you know what your palate likes. The fun is in the sampling of cigars you have never had. I have been smoking cigars for 40 years and still get ahold of cigars that I never smoked before and and enjoy new ones.

Re: Can you recommend me a good sampler?

Not really looking for brand specific (though i wouldn't mind a few big names), just some good starter cigars to enjoy w/o busting my wallet.

No such thing, the slope is real nasty and these evil fellows will tie rocks to your ankles and push you down.

i really liked the a.fuente g. reserva spanish lonsdales, but honestly it's like playing super mario, you keep hitting those bricks until you find your own personal power up.

I have smoked 5 of the 8.
5 Vegas - okay
5 Vegas Gold- A quite good MILD cigar
El Mejor Emerald - A good mild/medium cigar
Cuba Libre - An Excellent well made, tasty medium-ish cigar. Really quite nice.
Padilla Obsidian Belicoso - One of my favorite cigars, but needs at least 3 months of resting, then it's a wonderful cigar.

Haven't tried the rest, but have heard good things about the Graycliffs.
