Sorry to be so strong but its like saying the 5 Vegas gold and the rocky patel vintage 99 are the same smoke. Outside of looking kinds similar they are nothing alike.

They are similiar- although the San Cristobal is much stronger (not harsher). I doubt the blends are the same. Just to mention, I prefer the San Cristobal- wish' I had a Maestro right now!

ive had many vsg's and a couple san cristobals, i think the san cristobals are a little more bolder..i like the vsg's better

I smoked a VSG Spellbound a few days ago and I'm smoking a San Cristobal Supremo right now and I can assure you that they are two different blends. Just my .

Actually, my understanding is that Benchmade (another Pepin smoke) would the closest blend to the San Cristobal. Having tried both, I can attest to that.
