Montecristo Platinum Toro

I really enjoy that characteristics of this cigar, but hate the price point. What other cigars would you gorillas recommend that would satisfy my taste without raping my wallet?

If you get on Cigar Bid, try some of the 5 Vegas Series "A" cigars. Some of my favorites! Also Omar Ortez Originals, they are unbanded without cellophane, run around $3 each. Not bad!

I don't know your tastes but I have tried the montecristo line and the only ones I ever went "gaga" for were the limited edition Millennium. Why not try some of the Torano line,,the Casa, Virtuoso or the Signature..

I guess I should have mentioned the Motecristo's as well. I like the white label, Media Noche is pretty good also. I had a couple of the platinums, not really my thing. Gave me a swaying nicotine rush.

I saw the Monte Platinum Toro 5-Pack go for $19 and $21 earlier this week on c-bid.

IMO, these are WELL worth those prices, they are just hard to get that cheap. The best I've done on c-bid was a 5 pack @ $27.

If anyone has any solid alternatives to these cigars closer to the $2-$3 range, I would certainly be interested as well. These are great 'gars. Much better than the rest of the Monte line IMHO.
