Ok, this is the first time ive ever put up a picture, so if it doesnt work, please forgive me. I got these AF Spanish Londsdales from the devil site today and they have really weird dark spots all over the wrappers. Any idea what these are?

Re: Wierd Spots

It's really hard to tell, since the picture is very out of focus...

But from what I can see, it doesn't look like any of the three "spots" I would expect to see: Mold, Plume, or those light green spots you see on cubans where a drop of water was sitting on the leaf.

The closest would be mold, so you might wanna look up some old threads on mold to see what it looks like to do your own comparison.

Will Cbid take them back if that is indeed the problem?

Without a question!!!

just don't wait too long, if that's what the problem is.

However, are you sure it's just not the type of wrapper? I have several sticks that have dark spots in number of places, and it is just an unattractive wrapper leaf!! Would not think AF would let those out of their factory, though.

Re: Wierd Spots

FWIW... I've had some dark spots on a few from Cbid, but they haven't caused any noticable difference in flavor or smokability.

Kinda' like that mole on Cindy Crawford's face.... I wouldn't fault her for it, and if the lights were low, I wouldn't be thinking about it!

Re: Wierd Spots

Well, cbid sent me a replacement ten pack and they all looked the same as the previous ones so i have come to the conclusion that this is a fuente problem and not a cbid problem, but these are the ugliest cigars ive ever seen in my life.
