What is your favorite size cigar and why?

Like most of us, I also go through phases, and for me it's not necessarily a seasonal thing. Earlier this year I was in a petite corona / corona kick, then for awhile I was on a Churchill / Double Corona phase. Over the last couple of months, I have been into anything that's between 4 1/2" to 6" long, however, with ring gauges only in the 45 to 48 range. Those ring gauges always seems to give a better wrapper to filler ratio, allowing the wrapper to play a bigger part in the flavor profile.

BTW, I'd never turn down a standard size Robusto! (5x50, my all time favorite size)

Lately I've been smoking a lot of PCs because I haven't had a lot of time. When time's not a factor, I like to smoke torpedos, robustos and corona gordas.

Like many others, go through phases, but my favorite is the double corona. It seems the smaller RGs have a better flavor profile so I stock up more on them.

Robusto for sure. Lots of smoke, good smoking time and love a bigger RG.

robustos or toros. good draw. shorter burn. get bored with churchills unless im golfing.

Robusto grande, 5.5" with a 52 to 54 ring. Lots of smoke and cooler burn.

the bigger around the cigar is, the cooler the smoke. the longer cigar, the cleaner the flavor. Churchills and coronas are the best size for me.

Used to like Churchills, Lonsdales and Gran Robustos, but am leaning increasingly toward Robustos.

Robustos ...They are about the right length and ring gauge that I am comfortable with.

After reading this thread and thinking some... when I have the time I still love a standard size torp. I clip the end so the opening is small and I love 'em!!

Robustos or mini belicoso normally
corona's in the winter.

38-46 RG mostly. Robustos once in awhile. I don't enjoy 50+ RG cigars much.
