What is your favorite size cigar and why?
I know we probably have one of these threads in the archive somewhere, but I thought I would start another one. I saw one of these on another forum recently and thought it was interesting.
So what is your favorite size cigar and why? I am really into DCs and Churchills these days, which is a change for me. I used to mainly smoke robustos and coronas, but I think that was a time issue. Now that I only smoke once a week and can pretty much sit outside as long as I want, I want it to last as long as possible. I also find the longer cigars to be more medium-bodied compared to their shorter counterparts. So my collection is now changing as well. When I go to buy cigars, I am actually looking for DCs and Churchills, instead of shorter smokes. I also went through a lancero phase, but I am not smoking as many these days. I still love lanceros, but I just have to be in the mood to smoke one. Lately, I have been craving more smoke, so I have been grabbing 48+ RG cigars. So I ask the question again, what is your favorite size cigar and why?

I'm always drawn to corona gordas -- good size.

Re: What is your favorite size cigar and why?
I go through phases with this as well. Right now I am in the middle of a love afair with mainly PCs followed by corona gordas and lanceros. I just love the straightforward blast of flavor that the high ratio of wrapper to filler gives these smokes. In the past I used to mainly Toros and robustos but that is one of the things that I love about this hobby, flavors and tastes change enough to keep things interesting

Re: What is your favorite size cigar and why?
I'm still a total noob, but I have been gravitating to the torpedoes lately. I'm not sure why, but I think it's a comfort thing. It's a big guage, but I can still chomp down on the pointy bit without feeling like I'm going to dislocate my jaw. Probably stupid, but there it is.

Re: What is your favorite size cigar and why?
My preference has certainly changed towards smaller RG sticks. Right now the lanceros and corona gordas are doing it for me.

Torps and Robustos for the longest time, but lately I've been getting into the smaller ring guages. I really like the lanceros, tasty!

I love the CGs and Churchills but tend to pick up more in the dalias, lonsdales, coronas and lanceros.

Robustos and toros. The robustos take me about 90 minutes and that is usually about the maximum amount of time I have to spend.

I like the toro best somewhere in the 46 to 52 gauge range. They usually take 1 to 1 1/2 hours to smoke and have the best flavor imho.

Re: What is your favorite size cigar and why?
I generally smoke corona's, although I have a fair amount of robustos in my humi. A Corona just "feels right".

Re: What is your favorite size cigar and why?
I'm a huge PC fan because they don't take so long to smoke that I have to block out a time to smoke, I can do it whenever for the most part.

Re: What is your favorite size cigar and why?
For me, my top four sizes are as follows in no particular order:
1) Lonesdale 2) Corona 3) Petite Corona 4) Lancero The flavor profile is more concentrated and I am a full bodied smoker and I want to enjoy every flavor a cigar has to offer. I guess this goes with nearly two decades of smoking.
