Cigar Budget

Based on the total amount of cigars you smoke a week, what would you estimate your budget to be? This is not counting the cigars you purchase on top of what is smoked weekly. I smoke around 10 to 12 cigars a week, with most being Flor De Olivia's and Benchmade. I figure I burn about $25.00 a week on budget cigars, and about $10.00 to $15.00 on premium cigars. My total expense for the week runs about $50.00 give or take. I know many of you do not smoke budget cigars, and I would like to know what your cigar expense is per week.

Re: Cigar Budget

I only smoke a couple a week myself, but the price is all over the place as I am still trying to figure out what I like. I'd like to keep it in the $10/week range.

Having said that, yesterday I smoked an Oliva Serie O robusto and today an Ashton VSG Tres Mystique. I probably paid $12 for the pair.

Re: Cigar Budget

I'm averaging about 1 or 2 cigars a week, so that comes down to anywhere from $4 to $30 per week depending on what I smoke.

Re: Cigar Budget

I smoke mostly "budget" smokes, 7-9 a week, $25-35 if I'm a good boy and stay out of the B&M. Add $10-15 if I'm not such a good boy.

Re: Cigar Budget

Budget $75/mo. Usually over budget, but building inventory. I usually smoke 1 a day. Mostly FDO's, supplemented with better sticks on sale. Try to keep the average cost/stick to $2.50.

Re: Cigar Budget

Most of what I smoke is in the $8-10 range. My wife has a stated budget of $150 a month for me. But she has no idea about the cash I spend at the local shop.

What ever you do, or say to get out of trouble when she finds out, please let us know. I might have you use the same excuse...............

"SOMEONE"...

That's just wrong that "someone" had the nerve to steal YOUR card and if that wasn't bad enough he even bought CIGARS with it... even worse he went to your favorite shop and to top it off bought YOUR favorite sticks!!!

If you ever catch that SOB I bet he'll never know what hit him...
