CAO CX2

Hi Guys,

I have had a CAO CX2 belicoso, as a sample and it was a memorable smoke. I was not expecting much but came out on my top 3 cigars I ever had.

I'm looking to buy a box and wanted to know what experience you guys had with the stick!

Re: CAO CX2

I got a freebie from Famous recently and was waiting for it to acclimate awhile before lighting it up. I've heard good things, so I'm definitely looking forward to it. Glad to hear you liked yours!

Re: CAO CX2

I was surprised when I lit up the FAMOUS freebie Cx2...I was disappointed.
Wouldn't go out of my way to get more. I have a couple more freebs resting so I will give it another shot. I'll wait another three weeks or so before lighting another from my resting zone. I was expecting so much MORE TASTE from this CAO.
Construction and burn were fine.

I bought a box of robustos in the Summer of 07. They're quite good. I think I may have one or two from that box around here somewhere. They get better with about a year on them if you can wait that long.

I'm not sure if it has already happened or is happening soon, but CAO is not going to making the Cx2 anymore. So if you like them and can find them, get some!

It HAS happened. CAO stopped the manufacturing of Cx2 a couple of months ago. Whatever was/is left in inventories is the end of it.

The CX2 along with the Sopranos are two of my favorite smokes.

Does famous typically run specials on their house brands? The holt's deal really has me tempted, but I am pretty full up at the moment so I'd like to know how rare this opportunity is.

Not necessarily. We don't own the brand but have been given exclusive distribution for it. Brick & mortar tobacconists can still stock their shelves through our wholesale division if they have a demand for the product.
