B&M Score - Fuenta Anejo 50

Ohhhhh yeah!!!!

Being a newbie I've never seen or touched an Anejo - until today. I'm on a mailing list for my B&M and got an email last night he had these in and would hold them from the public for a week for us regulars. Yep, I'm a newbie but already a regular at the B&M.

Anyhow I grabbed 2 of these today and I'm thinking I should have gotten more, he didn't say he was limiting them to the regulars. After looking a little more online, if I'm looking at this correctly, I got a steal on these at $11.95/ea.

Now the possibility of me having no idea what I'm talking about is definitely up there - but it looks like these sell most everywhere else for $25.00+/ea.

Either way, I'm excited and I've got them gently tucked into the humi to rest for a while. It's killing me though, I really want to try one now!

These are nice smokes for after dinner or a cold day out in the garage with the heater on. Real Holiday cigars. Why not light one up and if you like it get some more. The price is good. The people selling them at $25.- are over- the-top IMO, but if that is what their customers will pay, who am I to say.

price you paid was good - but the price you quote ($25+) is at retailers that have them year round. They have them year round because they charge 2-3x more than they are supposed to and people just won't bite...

Glad I got a good deal.

The $25+ places were some of the big sites. My B&M told me this was definitely a 'once a year at Christmas' kind of thing for him. Awesome.

Re: B&M Score - Fuenta Anejo 50

I just smoked a Anejo 50, yesterday I had a 55 and 77. I'm smoking a 46 right now and I have to say, the Anejo batch this year is not Anejo. AF dropped the ball.

The core taste is still there, but the cigar is just too light. Zero pepperiness.

Hopefully they'll get better next year.
