I would assume a stem. Alot of times they try to cut out the stems, but QC sint always top notch. Also possibly a very thivk vein from the leaf.

A large vein? tt was making a starge fuzzing sound. It was like someone had spinkled a small amount of black power down the side. It was a crackling, fizzing time burn.
There was big vein down the side of the cigar where the black line was but surley it would not burn like that?

Re: Black line down ash and cigar burning

Wet wood pops cracks and fizzles as well. The veins/stem carry moisture and will therefore be more apt to crack and fizzle. Just my thoughts anyway.
