Search for a local B & M...didnt meet my expectations

So i moved to Dover from FL a few months ago. Im finally getting around to check out the area for a local place to buy smokes. 3 of 4 tobacco shops only had the cheap stuff. Then there was one with a walk-in humi...i was excited. Walked in and saw cigars from the floor to ceiling, first thing i saw was a box of Oliva V maduros. As i looked around at the huge selection i began to take a closer look. Almost all the smokes without a cello had signs of mold, and it was blatently obvious. I even found one with a hole in it, prolly from a beetle.

Anyway i still got the v maduros after looking them over. So after being disgusted by the way they treated there cigars and how they looked im still in search for a place to get my smokes. It should be illegal to abuse the nice cigars they have in there. Its only a local tobacco shop that caitors mostly to cigarette smokers, so im sure they could care less. If anyone knows a good place with a selection near Dover or on the way or in Wilmington please let me know, even Philly.

There are lots of nice cigar shops in Philly . Holt's on Walnut St. , Liberty Smokes on Front St. , Black Cat Cigar Co. on Sansom St. , Lightin' Up Cigars on Columbus Blvd. I'm sure there has got to be some decent cigar shops in Delaware , maybe some of the Delaware crew will chime in to help you out .

if you dont mind makin the trek up to philly every now and again, philly is the place to go im tellin ya they have some great cigar shops!

I do go to Philly every couple of months, ill be sure to check some of these places out. I went to JR cigars in NJ this weekend, i heard they have a shop in DC were i visit family frequently. I picked up a couple opus x, they had a 2 stick limit so i got my wife to buy me two. Im just disappointed i dont have anywhere i can go locally. But i have plenty of cigars in the coolidor.

Move to WV - I have one liquor store that has a fair selection of Ashton, Romeo & Julieta, Punch and some Cohibas... if you ask for pipe tins they act like you are crazy... I used to like in Bucks Co, PA and was spoiled for tobacconists.

DC is a pretty good place for cigars, there are a few in the Baltimore area also. I've heard good things about this place, but never been: http://drapertobacco.com/
