That is quite the leap into the dark side. I had an RA898 yesterday and it was awesome. Just a side note they have been discontinued for about 7 years and are hard to find. I have a feeling from now on you will compare all other cigars to that one

That is the same thing he told me, that they no longer make them and to enjoy it while I can. I know nothing about ISOM's, but he said that they were rolled in 2002 and he bought them in 2004. He gave me 4, I might smoke one and hold onto the rest.

CAO sopranos sp. ed. Tony Soprano versus Cohiba Esplendido (CC), or both.

Re: What is everyone smoking for New Years?

If I can find a PLL or Trini Ingenios that will draw, one fo them.
If not, maybe a Boli Simone or RYJ Curch.
Or maybe something else- who knows? We'll see how cold the garage is, and what the mood calls for.

Re: What is everyone smoking for New Years?

smokin5 sent me some HdM Excalibur Legends that I have yet to try. I think New Years is a good time. Or rather the 3 hour drive up TO the New Years party...doubt I'll be able to smoke where I'm headed. Either way, looking forward to it.

Either a PAN 1926 or a 4000, along with a couple bowls of pipe baccy.

Re: What is everyone smoking for New Years?

nothing too fancy for my noobness; an Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva Royal Salute that's been aging for a whole week () on the 1st, and maybe a Hoyo de Monterrey Presidente Oscuro on the eve (biggest, blackest stick I saw at the B&M, recommended by a cool old guy shopping at the time).

One of the diplomatic Trinidads? How cool...

As for myself, my evening is gonna start around 8 PM filled with pool and poker. I have no idea which one's I'll smoke, but it'll be a handful for sure. Some really great suggestions in here. I've got an ESG churchill I've been sitting on for a few years now. That may have to go up in flames.

I suppose I'll have to pack my traveldor tonight. I'll let you guys know what the picks are tomorrow.

For sure this is where I'll be for a private party.

Re: What is everyone smoking for New Years?

I got an Upmann Vintage Camaroon that I will be smoking at midnight while shooting off our NYE fireworks show for the neighborhood. Haven't decided on the NYD cigars with exception to my normal Mayorga H2000 with my morning / afternoon coffee.
