Herfing with the South Florida Crew

I had the pleasure of herfing with some fine BOTL this past week in Miami. I headed down South for Christmas to celebrate Christmas with my future in-laws (sister's fiance). Spent some time on Calle Ocho on Friday with my future Brother in Law Alex and his brother Moe.

Saturday, Carlos (Blueface), Mikey (MadeinDade), and Tony (NewCigarz) picked me up to head to Calle Ocho to check out some of the factory shops. With it being the weekend and the holidays there was very little activity. I did get the opportunity to meet Jorge Padron and Ernesto Padilla. Carlos.. that sneaky bastige, you gotta watch out for him. The 1926 Maduro Sampler bought in the Padron shop was thrown at me hastily out in the parking lot. Mikey and Tony hit me up with some tasty smokes in the car before we got to Calle Ocho. Not so sneaky but very generous.

Bill (Madurofan) caught up with us in Calle Ocho where we decided to head down to Key Largo for Fish sandwiches, rum runners, and the best key lime pie at the fish house.

Bellies full we headed across the street to the Island Smoke Shop for some smokes. If you get a chance try out their El Original House Blend (Lancero is my choice). They are some tasty smokes. If you're lucky you may find some Anejos for sale at MSRP.

We decided to head back north after a while to play some dominoes and smoke some more. I'm not sure where we ended up, Bill, Carlos, or Mikey could chime in. We finished up the day at said shop playing some dominoes and smoking some more cigars.

All in all an excellent day of herfing with some of the best hosts you'll find! iCarlos, Mikey, Tony... ffa yens find yourselves in Atlanta.. you know who to call!

I didn't get any herf photos from Saturday, but here are some from Friday wandering around Calle Ocho. It's a shame the best rear I saw my whole trip was on a mannequin.

A whole day away from home, with guys, smoking cigars and playing dominoes, with fish sandwiches from the Florida Keys, rum runners and key lime pie? All that was missing was the sex. You didn't offer.

That pack of smokes was a token for you who has already been part of a hit crew and bombed my butt with Padron Annis. You are no saint and I am still behind by my book.

Nothing changed.
"Have a good time" meant just what she intended it to be.
Have a good time with them as you won't be having a good time with me when you get back.

Ji,
Thought you might want this.

One part of each, equal parts.

Fresh squeezed lime juice
Grenadine
Blackberry Brandy
Banana Liquour
Bacardi Anejo
Bacardi Gold (or regular if you want)

Put in blender loaded with ice. If you have a Margaritaville drink maker even better.

Once done blending and you serve, add a wedge of lime and a shot of Bacardi 151 as a floater.

That is the original recipe from the guy that created it.
