Not woth 30 + bucks IMHO.

Usually goes for around 18 here on CS. Post a WTB maybe you can get one closer to MSRP.

They are a nice cigar to look at but I think there are better cigars to smoke for the dollar. But defiantely one to try and on to have in the Humi.

I smoked a few, and for my money, I would rather get 5 Short Stories for $30...they are just as good.

If you're wondering why they seem to be out of stock lately, it's because I made the mistake of liking them, and wanting to buy a few. If I like something, that's pretty much the Kiss of Death for whatever it is. Sorry about that.

Re: Hemingway BTL worth it?

I bought two to share with my FIL after Christmas dinner. I paid MSRP from TS, so that $30+ paid for two. I was impressed with the looks and construction of the cigar, the taste wasn't bad, but I have had better. Now that I have smoked one, I can say that I have and probably wouldn't buy another. There are better smokes to be had for that kind of money.

I is something worth trying at least once though.

Great little stogie... worth 30+ bucks? Depends on how you get your money. This cigar has been rather pricey over the years and has never appeared on cigarbid. Suggest you call lots of shops and you'll probably find them for less. LMK if you're within striking distance of Palm Springs within the next few weeks and we may be able to work something out...

Enjoy.

Re: Hemingway BTL worth it?

I've wanted to try one but was cost prohibitive for me at that cost! But if you have that kind of discretionary income I say get a few just to see if you really really like em.

Re: Hemingway BTL worth it?

I got mine for $11.50 each and JRs had them for $13 box price $325. Everyone is right. For the money, IMO, the WOAM and the Short Story are as good and much more affordable. H3LL, you can buy Opus for less.

Re: Hemingway BTL worth it?

My b&m was selling them for around 16-18 (he always charges msrp, just limits the number you can buy instead of jacking up the price) bucks if i'm not mistaken. At that price I didn't mind picking up a few to try. Compared to the short story yea I'd agree it was pretty damn close. Close to the point of my friend actually saying to me "ya know man... I don't think I can really tell the difference in this and some of the other fuentes"
