What are people's impression of the Taboo Limited Reserve cigars?

Not to sound snobbish but of late I'm smoking less but better cigars. I picked up a 6er of the Taboo LR cigars while buying a box of Padron Monarcas. I got them yesterday so the Taboo cigars have exactly 24 hours in the humi.

I don't even know which one I'm smoking (listed on the cello but I took them off) but all I can say is 'wow!'. This is the robusto with a milk chocolate color. The burn and draw properties are perfect with tons of smoke. It's got a pretty complex flavor reminiscient of a tatuaje twang. It's a mild-med cigar to be sure but with some great flavors.

I've been burned with new cigars so I tend to stick to what I like. I like this...does anybody know which cigar I'm talking about?

I, as of yet, have had fairly limited experience with Taboo's. I know I have yet to have a bad one though. In fact, I just got a 5'er of SFBC's today. They are going to be the topic of my next review! God they make good cigars!

Unfortunately, I can't help at the moment. Call their shop, I'm sure that they could probably tell you.

I am not sure of the one you had, but the Maduros are killer

Re: What are people's impression of the Taboo Limited Reserve cigars?

I really enjoy the LR connecticuit. If it's a pretty light colored wrapper, that is likely what you are smoking. I tasted hints of cocoa and butter when smoking the figurado I had. Probably one of the best connie wrapped cigars I've ever had. The habano and maduro looked very very similar to each other (at least the ones I had). They had the same underlying taste that came out the longer you smoked them, but I felt the connie was the best of the 3. They all seemed to have excellent construction as well.

I really enjoy Taboo cigars, especially the LR connecticuit and HSG, though I will say my tastes are starting to change, and the last HSG I had didn't blow my socks off like the others I've had. All in all, I feel Taboo's are a good cigar at a competitive price when you take advantage of their email deals and coupon codes.

I agree with the above praises of Taboo cigars. I've enjoyed several SFO's and SFBC's and other than some mild occasional uneven burn or tunneling issues these are one absolutely delicious full-bodied smokes.

Gotta give 'em a try!!
