Interesting thread. I have a couple Punch (Magnum or Champion, not sure) but for some reason I've just never felt like smoking one. After reading all these glowing reviews, however, I'm going to have to lite one of these puppies up!

I'm right there with ya. I've got a couple of the puros i've been sitting on for a few weeks and haven't really felt like smoking them just yet but after reading these reviews coupled with the pittifuly constructed gurkha I'm having at the moment (unraveling, parts of the rapper look like a patchwork quilt that was glued together of different shades of tobacco.. a vein the size of my leg running down the side), I'm happy to know that tomorrow morning I'm going to enjoy a smoke that's consistent time after time and never dissapoints.

I think Punch, along with the other old timer cigar brands, don't get talked about much because so many people get stuck on seeking out the newest and most unique smoke out there. The new brands get so much hype that in the end many tend to dissapoint. I've never been dissapointed with a punch cigar. Gran puro's are good along with their regular line. Never had the cuban punches though.

I had a day off today so I took a walk out at a local park and brought along a Chateau M. This box has some age on it. What a tasty smoke! Spice, coffee, cocao and some nuances. Gotta love Punch.

Not sure the exact name, but the Punch Cameroon cigars that are wrapped in cedar are quite nice. I had a box of belicosos that were really delightful. Some of the better NC's I had smoked in some time (outside of some the boutique brands). Worth picking up!
