Something dumb: Cool boxes?

Yeah, I'm easily amused. I got a Cuban Crafter's e-mail and saw this item:

I LOVE these boxes! I'm not sure yet, but I think they might fit 3-across in my cooler. I currently have quite a few bundles and 5- and 6-packs in there that are horribly disorganized, and these would be just the ticket, I think. I guess I have bought about 6-8 empty boxes from the B&M to put stuff in, but I would love to have a dozen of these, if I could get them empty, unfinished, and under $5/per. I wonder where they get them? I can't find it now, but I vaguely recall something on their website about them having an in-house box shop. I'll definitely be sending them an e-mail inquiry, at the very least.

If I'm not mistaken, the CAO Criollo pato's came in boxes like these as well. I'm not sure who else uses them.

That is a cool box. You know, I've actually smoked a couple of those Don Kiki cigars, and I gotta say, they ain't great, but for the price, they ain't that bad, either.

Cool Re: Something dumb: Cool boxes?

Anyone else have some favorite cool boxes? I'm a fan of the CAO Sopranos box and many of the crazy Gurkha boxes.

Re: Something dumb: Cool boxes?

Someone posted in a thread recently about the white CAO humidor/box with the LED lights around the rim, and built-in digital thermo/hygro in it. Very cool. Them and Gurkha both go pretty OTT sometimes.

I guess I meant "cool" in the sense of "being particularly useful for my purposes", but that's a lot longer to type.

I haven't had a chance to e-mail them yet. I will this weekend, and pass along whatever they tell me.

Re: Something dumb: Cool boxes?

I went to Cuban Crafters back in late December. Next time I go , if I remember that is , I will ask for you.
One of my friends who recently got into the cigar hobby goes there often, I will ask him to question it to his contact.

That would be awesome! I've never even bought anything from them, so I'm just some random deekhead they never heard of. Someone with an existing contact with them should be able to get further than I would.
