Re: Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?
A decent Mild cigar that come in a Corona sized cigar is Rolando Reyes Sr's Genuine. I liken them to a Puros Indios. They can be had for $2.25.

Por Larranaga Cuban Grade - never tried one, but I plan to. ************.com said it was an excellent cigar for a mild body. Lots of flavor.
cigarplace.biz sells em. Corona size - $40/box = $2 ea. 80/box for the Figurados. |

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?
Just to throw out something a bit different, try a RyJ Viejo or RyJ Reserva Real. Otherwise, I used to smoke a bunch of 5 Vegas Golds and Casa Toranos for a mild smoke.

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?
Everything that's been mentioned is great! Just for a couple others:
Gurkha Sherpa ($2/stick at CI) Gurkha Symphony ($3/stick on cbid) Perdomo Champagne (about $4/stick on cbid) R&J 1875 "Bully" La Vieja Habana Cameroon (usually about $2.50 at any B&M) CAO Criollo (some argue this is medium-bodied because it's spicy, but I find it to me pretty mild) CAO Black (closer to medium-bodied, and one of my FAVORITES--it's exclusive to CI and cbid). |

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?
Punch and Hoyo de Monterrey are good reasonably priced smokes in a plethora of sizes. In particular the Punch Britania is a mild but flavorful smoke at a reasonable price. I have gotten wrapped up in the newer Nicaraguan boutique brands so much, I often forget some of the best mass produced stuff that I used to smoke all the time.

Re: Perdomo Champagne/Joe Cigar today
Montesino is my go-to cheaper mild.
5 Vegas Gold'd be a good bet. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the original line of Victor Sinclairs, either. All good options. Montesino for me, though. |
