Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?

I've got a good buddy who is a smoker, but prefers mild smokes, under 4-5 dollars. Any thoughts on a good smoke in a corona size for him?

Thanks!

Corona size I don't know. Mild and under $4: 5 Vegas Gold, Fonseca 5-50, and Edge Lite (this one's in the $5 range).

Cusano 18 double connecticut can probably be had for under that price range by the box. I always enjoy them when I'm in the mood for something mild.

Yeah, 5 Vegas Gold is an excellent value smoke if you want mild. I always keep these in stock.

Macanudo Hampton Court, 5 Vegas Gold, Punch Rothschild Maduro are all good choices.

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?

The standard La Aurora with the Cameroon wrapper is mild and tasty, but not sure if it comes in corona size.

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?

The La Aurora Cameroon does come in a corona size; I have a couple of boxes on hand at all times. You are looking for the #4. About 1.90 each if you buy a box.

Re: Favorite Budget Mild Cigar?

I've not had one in a corona size (preferring robusto and toro myself), but I like the Montesino line on those occassions when I want something mild. I also try to keep some around to gift to friends who aren't regular smokers.
