Graycliff Purple Chateau Grand Cru

I was hanging out at Ace's for a little while when he told me he had a couple of new customers who found his store because of me posting about it here on CigarReview. He thanked me by giving me a cigar. At first I thought maybe he slipped me a fake. I had never seen a Purple Label on a Graycliff before. Then I did my research and found out, It is the new line just released at RTDA05 and Ace had given me his sample of their cigar. He really is the man. Here is the description from Cigars International:

Chateau Gran Cru: The latest addition to the prestigious Graycliff Series, the Chateau Gran Cru introduces a super smooth flavor filled with notes of cedar and the slightest hint of spice. The wrapper is chestnut-brown and adds a hint of sweetness to the mellow, medium-bodied bouquet of flavors. And, with this new blend comes a new size: a monstrous Salamon that’s enclosed in individual cedar coffins.

I believe this one will be aging in my humidor for quite a while. It will be hard to resist. But I think i need to save it for a extra special occasion.

Wow! That's totally cool that he gave you his sample. You are one of the first people in the world to have that cigar. It looks great.

It's nice to hear that he got some customers referred from here.

Tell Ace to come post, and I bet he gets even more customers.

Ah, the allure of the forbidden.

Seriously folks, if you haven't tried a Graycliff do so. IMHO they are superior to most habanos (again please have the good taste not to mention this on other forums, the death threats are growing tiresome ).

I've got one of the Churchill size ones sitting in my humi. I got it off of CBid.

I had heard a lot of stories about CBid not sending exactly what you won, but it never happened to me, until I won the Chateau Gran Cru Solomon, and got the Churchill.
