Podcasts
Does anyone here subscribe to any Cigar related Podcasts? I subscribe to Burghherfers Blowin' Smoke, and The Dogwatch Social Club.
My favorite of the two is Blowin' Smoke. The hour long program starts off with a "rant" by the main guy. He just picks one of his many complaints and rants for a few minutes. Then the rest of them discuss that topic. They always have a "Cigar of the Day." It's a single cigar that all the announcers smoke during the show. Throughout the show they talk about the cigar and they review it at the end. So, anyone here listen to them or any other one? http://www.burghherfers.com/ Nick

I haven't listened before. It sounds like a cool show.
I am in the process of looking into syndicating a broadcast show on this site. I have one request out there now. Remind me to look into this one if my original proposal doesn't come through.

I would love to. The computers I use are working from an ancient platform so the players necessary to listen are absent.
 They claim an upgrade is scheduled. I'll believe it when I see it.   Does anyone listen to Cigar Dave

Nick... Great post. I never knew there were any cigar podcasts. I can listen right on my PC at work. This guy at Blowin' Smoke does a really professional show. I like the format of guys all enjoying the cigar of the day and just sitting around and BS'ing.

What fun
 Been too long since I programmed a show. What's the run time? Once I have that I can then craft a show. Initial Idea: 1. opening monologue (sets up the tone for the show). 2. Run down of what's in store for this edition 3. Featured cigars 4. News 5. (Stealing this from The General:Cigar Dave) Diversions (he hardly has this segment in his show anymore) Talk about activities outside of but maybe including cigar smoking. 6. Phone calls (if Possible) Just off the top of my head. I can tighten it up with more info.
