Gispert Maduro VS Partagas Black Label
I like the Partagas BLack Label very much and pay about 4 bucks. I have never smoked a Gispert Mad but heard they are very good. Do they compare in taste and quality since the Gisperts are less money.

I have had both. I actually enjot the Gispert a little more. Just a flavor precerence. You can't beat the price either.

I was not very impressed with the Black Label I had. I'm not exactly sure why, just not my cup of tea.
I do want to try the Gispert Maduros though, I smoked a natural and loved it.

I have never heard of Gispert...I am going to have to do some research now. Thanks for the tip. As for Black Labels, when I want a swift kick in the pants, they are what I reach for.

Still waiting for my "freebie" Gisperts ($7 hit on shipping)... It's been about 7 weeks... I'll pass judgement when they pass the twigs.

I really care for the Partagas Black Label much until its aged a full year or more, same for their Spanish Rosado. After a year of aging they are amazing.
If you were ask me which to get and smoke off the shelf of my local store my choice would be the Gispert. Hard decision, both great cigars; might have to just go buy a Padron 2000 instead of making hte choice!  -Matt- |

I've never had a Black Label, but have enjoyed the Gispert Maduros. I have tried the robustos and belicosos- liked the robustos better simply because of the draw ( I don't know if I should chop off more when I clip cap but I tend to have problems with draw when smoking belis).
It's pretty mild, but smooth, enjoyable- not deep or anything... but certainly has more flavor than the naturals IMHO. just

I found the Gispert Maduro Toro I smoked to be a boring run of the mill, dry tasting maduro. Partagas Blacks on the other hand, I love.
