JR has the worst Postage system. I wanted to order some accessories from them, but by the time you added $2.50 for each item, the postage was $15 for a $20 order.
I'm so close to JR that UPS ground shipping gets here overnight. The $2.50 per item charge seems a bit high unless you're purchasing a full box...then it's less than paying sales tax.

It is OK for box purchases. If you are getting 5 boxes then $15 is OK for shipping. But if you get a couple of lighters, a cutter and a Hygrometer, it is excessive.

I just now bought a box of the ERDM robusto, great cigar and with shipping it was only $56.

The last time I ordered from JR was nearly a year ago ... Punch Elites. Those suckers were so wet it was like sucking on a wet log. I've heard a lot of discussion on other boards about JR and the concern was always too wet rather than too dry. Your post was very surprising.

I too was very surprised to see JR lead with machine made cigars. I guess money talks.

Hmmm, not so for me, I bought 2 5 packs of the Montecristo Afrique Jambo-Jambo several weeks ago at a really good price. I fired one up first thing outta the box and it was still a bit wet. I had one 4 days ago and they are still not ready. I guess JR hits it right at times, and at others....not so right.
