I bought 2 cheap one on c-bid just to have. I was wondering what are the benefits of this cutter, and if any of you prefer it over a dbl Guillotine cutter

It can give an easyer draw than a punch without getting tabacco in your teeth, like a straight cut does.

I like a punch and v-cut, but always get tired of trying to get a good esy draw so I stay with a straight.

I use one, but it depends on the stick...if the cap is small, maybe too small for a punch, I'll v-cut...if the draw is a little loose, I'll v-cut, but more then often I either straight cut larger and punch medium ring gauge smokes...

Here's a surprise. Straight-cut only for me!

I was in a Cigar Bar in San Diego awhile back and sat down with a amaretto on the rocks and a nice smooth torpedo (don't remember the brand). It was the first time I had had one v-cut. I like it. In between a punch and straight.
