I feel like an ass.....

My mother picked a box of these up for me as a gift, because they are unique..... and they were in PA going through Amish country.

I got them and laughed (inside) because they are machine made.... tried one and it burned horriable..... Was kinda a joke to include them in bombs.

Then Buzz posted a photo and it looked like it was burning PERFECT.... so i drooled.... and tonight when I came home I wanted to take some and age them without the cello and that is when I discovered the issue!

It looks like they have had tobacco beatles in a couple of them. Out of 50 sticks I found 3 that shows where they did have "something" eating them. I did inspect all of the remaining....... they look fine, but i wrapped them and threw them in the freezer. I DID open these 3 up and there are no beatles.

But please..... if I set you any of these in a bomb..... please pull them out of your hummidors..... inspect them and inspect all of your sticks. I did look at all the cigars in the hummidor they were in and they are all fine. So the three I found must have been effected a long time ago, and I just noticed it tonight.

Ice, Buzz, Bangbang and Denny......... I "think" I may have sent you these in past bombs. Please inspect and if there is ANY damage to your stash..... I will make it right. Just PM me. And please except my apology.

I have NEVER had a beattle problem before, still don't, but this scared the crap out of me.......

I wanted to add.... that none of the cello had holes in them and they were all still in cello.

I suck............

I am so sorry.... and don't think I am going to sleep well tonight....

The one I smoked, had no holes or inmperfections.

Believe me I looked it over hard, nice rolled gar.

The big question is, Did you smoke one of the good ones?

Oh no.... I didn't..... it truly sucked,,,,, hahahha

But saw no holes.

I did put the rest (about 40) in the freezer......

I know there is very little possiability that anyone now has beatles.... but it scared the ba'jesus out of me.......

I would be horrified if I ever brought bad.... to any of my brothers.

Thanks for the heads up. I had not put them my humi yet and they were still in cello in the plastic bag you shipped them in. That sux because after seeing picture of that nice ash I was going to put them in the humi for a week and smoke one. Dont feel bad brother... its not your fault.

Yep.......had one in one of mine.....it was unsmokable. Don't worry. I did not place it in a Humidor.

Not a problem, gifted them to my nusiance in law.... Not rest time for em there. Smoked in a week. He likes the sweetyies.

Checked the 2 Amish I was gifted and both of them had beetle holes eaten in them. They were in a baggie with an El Major I was gifted. Figured I better pitch all 3 of them.

pitching the Amish isn't going to make you cry...... I promise....

But throw the other stick in the freezer for a couple days and if it still looks ok... then it is ok.....

(I'd smoke it though...... )

Michael I remember you telling me you were going to try and destroy everybodies sticks by sending them beetles, but I thought you were joking. I can't believe you actually went through with it. That's a huge

to your fellow BOTL's.

I'm just giving you a hard time. It sounds like this was caught before any real damage was done. Let's just keep are fingers crossed

NOW I GET THIS! I'm at work and won't be back till after 9:00 tonight...alright, enough of the panic...I think I placed these sticks in th "yardgar" box...so there shouldn't be anything in there of value to worry about...at least I hope that's where they are

I really was up till after 2pm last night..... worried.... chatting with Grasshopper Matt...... and rolling coins.....

About 3 hours of sleep all together..... so now that I know everyone survived my attempts of holing (corn-whole if you will....) your smokes.....

I should sleep well tonight and plot out my next evil doings.....
