as some of you know I run a security crew on the weekends and there is a big party tonight. They call it a frarority b/c it combines both men and women. It's supposed to be huge, and I know it's going to be another stressfull night. One of the few pleasures I get from these parties besides the girls and money is walking around smoking a good cigar. Well most of the time I only bring 1cigar and i'm stuck with that no matter what, but tonight is different b/c i'm taking the travel humi so I have 5premos to choose from

If I had to guess the Torano is going down for sure as Deriffe gifted it to me and i've haven't tried one yet. Also that opus is looking awful tasty

yucky who likes dirt if it is a cedar taste now I like that, but dirt icky

well I shouldn't say we like different cigars b/c we both like the Gurkha XX, PAN's, Padron series, and a few others haha I think it's just I like almost all cigars and ur picky The only thing I do not like is a bitter/harshness to a cigar and sometimes the cigars you get cream from I get a bitterness from

haha ur prolly right. I only drink water when smoking cigars. Come to think about it water is the only thing I have ever had while smoking a cigar

nice selection...I think I'm jealous of these gigs…shame I’m too old to do something like that these days …I can still handle the job, but I would look like the creepy old guy hanging out frat party…yuck!

well managed to get through the opus X and Royal silk tonight. Both very good smokes and reminded me a lot of each other. I had a guy who doesn't smoke cigars try the ass end of these and he said the Royal silk had a smoother taste

O and as far as the party goes we got raided by 20police units. There is some political stuff going on with the Legion(the place that holds the paries) and the city so they are trying to get the legion shut down. The cops sent in a narc(underage girl) to try and get an overage band and get served. Well thank god my guys put the underage band on her, but she pulled it off and went up to the bar when it was busy and got served. She then call the cops and told her the party was out of control (it was 11pm and only about 50ppl there so the place was basically empty). Next thing I know the cops pulled up brought in the breathalizer tests and checked every persons ID. Then everybody who was underage got put to the breathalizer. Sure enough some ppl pregamed and 25 out of the 30underagers got arrested and put in jail. The crazy thing to me is nobody there was even drunk or stumbling around. There was no underage drinking going on there and they still got arrested

So needless to say the party was a bust and it really deters other ppl from throwing parties there so now I might be out of a job

Maybe you guys need an older person to place a "mature" face on the operation...I used to allow the back room of my warehouse to be used for raves held by the son of my wife's best friend...he used to get a lot of heat until I took over and arranged the security and worked the front door myself...something about a big old "Dad" looking guy that backs off the local busy bodies.

Well the ppl who run The Legion are all older ppl 45+. I don't mess with situations when the cops are involved that is when the board members who are there get on the phone with their lawyers and have at it. I just think it's crazy that this year we have had less problems than past years and the cops are giving us the most shit. Before I took over 2years ago ppl were allowed to drink underage there, but now I kick there ass out.

Board members are always in the front bar when the parties are in the back just incase stupid stuff like this happens. Did I ever mention I hate politics
