Man, that is a pain. I would think they could add an item like that. But if you ordered it in Thursday, it is possible they were not able to recall the shipment. They do a lot of volume, so it could be easier said then done.

They do a LOT of web business...

I would Email them your complaints INCLUDING a link to this thread (and the thread you start on the other forums ) and ask how they will remedy the issue so you can report back to the forum of the results of the situation.

Sit back and let give it to you for free.... as they should at this point.

I have a good overall experience w/ JR's. I think it all depends on their policy and shipping system. I have a feeling once the order is processed than that's it. Their store in NC is a wreck so it wouldn't shock me. I agree with the guy that said bitch and ref this thread.

I ran into some inflexibility yesterday when I ordered. I ordered some El Rey Del Mundo robustos and some Gispert maduros. The Gispert's come with a free torch lighter. They were out of stock (the cigars) and had to back order them...no Gisperts-no lighter I was told. Kind of pissed me off, but not a big deal. I told them to go ahead and bill me and send the lighter, but was told "no can do". Seems kind of silly to me. Isn't the customer always right?

I would have asked for a supervisor and definatley logged a complaint.

They should definately take care of this matter.
