CM Returns Fire, Scores Direct Hit

I sent CM one of the Fonseca Reserva Especials to try, along with a few Caribbean relatives (cigars are herd animals, they like to travel in packs). In a devastating retaliatory strike a CM missile landed smack in the middle of the Metal household yesterday:

The smokes are Cohiba Esplendido, Bolivar Fuerte (I believe), Davidoff Millenium Blend, LA Perferidos Gold and Royal Jamaica Oro Rojo. Nice CM. I haven't had an Esplendido in 6 or 7 years, a Millenium in maybe 4, and I bet it's been at least 10 for a Royal Jamaica.

Of course, one of the best things about a CM missile is all the cool swag that comes with it: another pig-sticker with easy-open feature, a spade ROYAL FLUSH of nice ladies, a neat pocket calculator which Mrs Metal immediately appropriated (she sez thank you) and a TJ dollar (cool, hadn't seen one, Mrs Metal snagged that too!).

I'm gonna give the smokes a week's rest and then burn the RJ on Wed. I remember when these were still made in Jamaica and sprayed with a rum based bethune. Damn were they good. The Esplendido WILL go down next Friday at the shop.

I'm saving the Boli for a friend we play cards with. He'll flip. He LOVES these. The Perf is mine, ALL MINE, BWAHAHAHAHA, for the last golf smoke of the last round of the year. What a way to close out!!!!

Not sure when I'll fry the Millenium, but I'm looking forward to it. For those not familiar with this smoke, it's first-class and not your typical Davidoff Dominican. Prior to the Pepin smokes, this was the NC that tasted most like a Havana. Reminds me of somewhere between cedary RyJ and a toasty RA.

Very nice. You may have gotten a spade ROYAL FLUSH of nice ladies, however I think that fiver of cigars beats a spade ROYAL FLUSH of nice ladies....
