One tip is put some headers over the door you installed so it does not twist on you.

I'll certainly be crashing that party. Gives me a place to smoke round here as well. When do you expect opening day to be?

I'd better get my ass in gear!! I dont have near as much work on mine to go but it is a lot of fun. I'm scouttin' ebay for some nice posters ETC. I bought a table cutter a week ago and havent heard from the guy so I might have to start pushing him.

Very impressive.

Why didn't you extend the smoking lounge all the way to the right, that would give you the space for a walk-in humidor and a wet bar.

Wet bar, not a refrigerator.

And, I don't think an aquarium in the smoking lounge is a good idea, just a thought.

Well, this is what I've ended up with. Like I said, nothing like what you guys will have, but it's nicer than sitting out on the back porch in the snow Kerosene heater for heat, sealed the ceiling with plastic sheeting and some ingenious engineering (if I may say so myself) to seal the gaps. Bout to fire up the inaugural cigar with my buddy Jack

That's it man...I'm really excited about this. No more having to go to the bar, or up to the firehouse to have a cigar. So far the reports from the girls in the living room above me are positive, they can't even tell I'm having a cigar I picked up a new set of poker chips this weekend, can't wait to have a poker game down here

If/when we buy this place, I'll likely finish the ceiling much nicer than it is now and do more work to fix it up...but didn't want to spend a lot on it right now since I'm just renting. I think I put a total of $150 into it, including the heater and all materials.

No doubt! You never want to spend your money to increase the value on someone else's property. Save it to buy your own.

I didnt extend all the way to the right because I am going to use that space for a bathroom/suana when the time and finances are right. I am still not sure about the tank I was going to talk to ol salty when the finances were right. The wet bar is a definate as well as the fridge. dont worry there is plenty of space. I cant wait to see the end result. I am really trying to not spare any expense with the finished project. I hope it turns out as cool as it is in my head.
