The Punch Gran Puro runs the Med-full , maybe more med.

Welcome aboard Kenn. You're gonna like these guys.

Not sure if it's an age thing or just keeping it simple, but I fall in with the double action revolver crowd. Not as many rounds, but it always goes boom when you tug on the trigger. SP101 just fits my hand and little bitty brain plus in a pinch you can use it as a hammer.

My next handgun's gonna be a wheelgun actually. Either .357 or .44mag...haven't decided yet. BTW, my Sig P239 has always gone boom when I pulled the trigger. Cept that time I made the mistake of buying some shitty russian Wolf ammo

hmmmm?

Well, on your recommendations, I will definitely try a PUNCH this weekend celebrating the 4th.

Thanks,

.45 vs. 9mm, personally, they are like screw drivers to me. If I was going to war tomorrow, I'd pick the .45 cal. For more enjoyable shooting, and comfortable carry the 9mm. I went hard in my young days, tried to sport a 10MM but macho just gets you a headache. I'm all about placement now.

Wheel guns are still cool. That Ruger you spoke of is trustworthy. In defense of your home, if you have to fire more than two rounds, you're in combat and have the wrong firearm anyway. that might be a little egotistical, but I don't believe in spraying and praying. Ammo is expensive.

I think you'll fit in quite well here man. I was just kiddin bringin up the 9mm vs .45 debate...I used to get a chuckle outta the arguments I used to see on gun boards over em. I'm sure they still have em, I just don't go there anymore. I've always felt that as long as I do my job, the 9mm will do it's job just fine. Besides...if I need a gun in my home, the only purpose of the 9mm is to get me to my 12ga

OMG, another gun lover.

btw, I think you just infringed my usename right in your first post on this thread, although you use a space in between. I will talk to my attorneys before taking legal action.

Welcome aboard, nevertheless.

Absolutely, and missing can be even more expensive.

And when you get right down to it, at our house the real protection is the most expensive - 8 dogs, 6 of which are over 75 pounds, and not one of which would bite anything larger than a biscuit, but good god they can set up a racket. Not impossible to catch us unawares, but pretty daggone difficult.
