New Guy an Introduction
To all that read this posting, greetings and salutations,
my name is Kenn, aka the BlackManWithaGun. If you have never heard of anyone crazy enough to use that as a screen name, I'm real. It's not a race thing, just using it for shock value. I am an author and firearms trainer, and a grassroots activist for the right to keep and bear arms. When I get a break from all the stressors that can happen in life, I usually try to find a glass of wine to sip, a good friend, and a long smoking, slow burning, mild cigar to enjoy. I'm not really up on the intellectual stuff yet in either wine or cigars though I've been a partaker of both since legally able. I like what I like and it is usually not fancy. I hope to learn a few things here and change my ignorance. I am a podcaster too (and have a weekly internet radio show) called "The Urban Shooter" on iTunes that you can listen to on your computer or download to your MP3 device. It's an entertaining ( I hope) and educational show for law abiding, fun loving gun owners of the city. see also www.blackmanwithagun.com, thanks, Kenn |

You've found a great board with regards to cigars (lots of gun lovers here too).....we've all got differant tastes and varying degrees of experience so you'll have no problems fitting in..... Remember, the board is only as good as it's participants so stop by often and chime in frequently! Cheers bro!  |

welcome! good to know we have a firearms expert now... ive been kicking around buying a hand gun for plunking around on the range,and home protection. ide love to buy a kimber .45 with the .22 barrel option. but dont have to bucks... probably end up with a SW .9mm

Thanks for joining and posting your introduction Kenn.
I think you can see by the welcomes that we have a fun and friendly group here. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are looking forward to your future participation. And no worries if you feel you are not very knowledgeable about cigars (or wine). Unlike other boards where "Cigar Nazis" run rampant, they are not allowed here. We have a lot of knowledgeable people, but they are down-to-earth and friendly. There's no such thing as a dumb question here. I'm impressed with you having a podcast show on iTunes. That's pretty cool.

We just started a network of pro-gun podcasters called the Gun Rights Radio Network (www.gunrightsradio.com) and one of my most active forum participants is a guy that owns a few cigar stores in Indiana. He is the one that made me think to look for you guys. You can find that forum under The Urban Shooter.
Question? I don't think I have enjoyed a Punch. Seen'em in the shops, where does it fit on the scale? thanks for such a warm reception. There are some really cool peeps on this site. Kenn |
