Never tried those ones, but I've nearly every other VS and they've all been great for the price.

I had a VS 55 Sun Grown (green) last night from the Didier Massacre...and it was very good. A nice taste, burned excellent right down to the band. Seems the Sun Growns I've had are a little spicy and have a lingering after taste..which isn't a bad thing. I'm looking at the sampler that has all of the different ones in it...they make them as shortys too....

Thanks again Bob!!

No problem Drew!

The only VS that I have smoked have been the Bohemian Red and Bohemian Black Chisel shape.

I prefered the Black but both were good smokes.

Re: Victor Sinclair Serie 55

Great posts guys. I'm looking into both deals that CI has ongoing right now for the Serei 55 perfecto assortment and the 24 stick assortment of the Bohemian chisels. I'm gonna pull the trigger on both of them.

Re: Victor Sinclair Serie 55

I've seen a lot of people bash them on here, but I picked up that perfecto sampler of Series 55's a while back and was pleasantly surprised. Some of the blends are stinkers, but the corojo and the sun grown I recall as being quite good. I'm also a sucker for perfecto shapes, so who really knows.

Re: Victor Sinclair Serie 55

I've tried the Serie55 Corojo, the Bohemian Corojo, and some other Corojo they make, all were good quality Med-Full cigars. I think they're a solid value.

Re: Victor Sinclair Serie 55

As some mentioned, the corojos were acceptable to my palate. The "Vintage Selects" with some age on them are also acceptable. The "Connecticut Yankee" is the best of VS cigars IMO and I keep a supply of those on hand. Other than that "Connecticut Yankees", I think there are better cigars for the money.
