"Mild" Stick Suggestions

While by no means a veteran cigar aficionado like many of you here, I have developed a taste (in the last year) for a fuller smoke; my 22 yr. old son (my real smoking buddy!)also has the same affinity as I. But, I have an older son and a great friend(whose last cig I gave him-an Onyx-made him nauseated) who lean toward milder sticks, and since I don't have any, I would like your suggestions for someone who has a, um, well, less discriminating palate. Thanks!

I have three that come to mind (no particular order:

5 Vegas Gold
Montensio (sp?)
CAO Gold

All very creamy, and buttery. Smooth and defnately on the mild side.

Couple of my favs.....

Gurkha Symphony
Gurkha Turk
Park Ave. by Gurkha (can get great deals on them right now)
5 Vegas Gold Double-Nickel Box Press
Victor Sinclair Primeros
Graycliff Emerald (a little pricy)

I love Gurkhas. Their milds are so good. I have all of above listed in my boxes and I liked them all. The GCs are the only ones that are expensive.

Some good ideas! I'm not going to give another RP Decade out unless I know it's gonna be enjoyed! Very often, my two sons and I will have an evening sit in the backyard with a stick and glass of scotch, so I like to have something that will make the experience enjoyable for all.

I second the Torano, in fact most of their smokes are med at best yet, unlike some of the other "light" smokes, well-built and flavorful. Maybe stick with smokes in cameroon & conneticut shade wrappers. They TEND to be towards the mild to medium range. YOu can always go for the all time newbie smoke, the macanudo

Go back through the reviews with an eye for Iceman... Aside from his current Perdomo affliction, he favors medium smokes and has a plethora of reviews.....

The 5Vegas Gold's are (for me) a great breakfast cigar with coffee. If they like milder/medium cigars, I'll second this vote. A number of the Torano's should also fit the bill.

I plead guilty to my current Perdomo preference...

I do prefer milder cigars and many of the one already listed are good ones. Some of the ones I like:

Don Diego
Santa Damiana - The "Flagship" of milder cigars. IMO
Cuesta-Rey
Romeo & Julieta Reserva Real and Cedros #2
Arturo Fuente
Gispert
Casa Torano - One of the best, IMO
Perdomo Champagne (I had to get this one in Denny)

The ones I list have a natural wrapper and a few offer it in a maduro wrapper too.

Sol Cubano B series
Slow Age 826

They are a couple that I would suggest.
