Candela question

Anyone here smoke candelas? I know the flavor is light, but does it have a distinct taste of any kind?

Candela cigars tend to be light/mild in strength. They taste a little sweet and minty due to the wrapper. For me, it's a change of pace cigar once in a while.

I'm with Slow, other than the mint. I have not noticed the mint. They seem to be gaining a popularity.

However, I am not a big fan, since I am into the darker cigars.

Tried an Astral Candella once, light with a very grassy taste.

No Thanks, can't smoke another, the green thing just reminds me of yard grass.

A few years ago I seriously considered trying of these but I had heard much the same comments from others: Grassy, Mild. Two attributes that just don't appeal to me.

To each thier own and you gotta admit, they look pretty cool.
