As stated earlier, at least in Florida, I guess they could try to bust you on unpaid sales tax, but that would be State Revenue agents, not ATF?!

to echo Stan's comment...thank you.

Regarding the ATF, as far as I'm aware (I'm no lawyer, but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night) the only thing that would make cigar sales illegal over the internet is (and may draw the attention of the ATF):
a. Under age patrons (some sites say 18 others 21)
b. Selling/buying of Cubans within the US

Beyond that, any states sales tax required should be the states problem and certainly not the ATF's. Just my two cents though...
