Nick-
I got the beads. Got them so long ago, don't know the name....
I've got the florist block(s) in there with said beads.

You can always just use more beads.

I have had an oasis for about 3 years. It gets a little squirrely sometimes and raises its setpoint. I run mine at 63 and it maintains at 65 (63 is the setpoint, 65 is what my separate, calibrated hygro reads). However, sometimes I will find it up to about 69 (hygro) and the setpoint has changed....

Shit, just as I typed this it made me think. We had a power blip yesterday during a thunderstorm. Probably resets back to a higher level.

Back on track, I find that I REALLY have to have a separate humidifying device in the humi to prevent the oasis from cycling on and off continuously, especially during winter. Beads are your friend!!!!

I don't know anything about either one. I use Heartfelt beads exclusively. However I have noticed that it seems everyone uses the Oasis.
